(CelebrityAccess) — Former U.S. President and convicted felon Donald J. Trump shared a social media post on Monday saying he has accepted Taylor Swift’s endorsement of his bid to return to the White House in 2025. The only problem for the candidate is that the image appears to be a fake generated by an artificial intelligence system.

The former president shared a collection of images, including an AI-generated image of Taylor Swift dressed as Uncle Sam with the caption, “Taylor wants to vote for Donald Trump.” Another image, along with another of a young woman wearing a “Swift for Trump” T-shirt, also appears to have been generated by the AI system.

At least one image shared by social media influencers on Trump’s Truth Social contained a satire tag, but that didn’t stop the former president from tweeting that he “accepted” the seemingly fake endorsement.

Former President Trump has previously expressed disappointment with Swift’s political leanings, saying earlier this year that her support for then-Trump opponent Joe Biden was “insincere.”

“I signed the Music Modernization Act and held Taylor Swift and every other musician accountable,” Trump told Truth Social in February. “Joe Biden has not done anything for Taylor and will not do anything for her. There is no way she would support the worst, most corrupt president in the history of our country, a crook Joe Biden, and be disloyal to the guy who made her a ton of money.”

Swift has not commented on the alleged endorsement and has not publicly stated her political preferences during this election cycle. In 2020, she supported Joe Biden and has been critical of Donald Trump in the past, accusing him of “fanning the flames of white supremacy and racism” in a 2020 Twitter post (now X.).
