This bill makes it easier to hide the record of the corrupt 1.6 Commission, which accomplished nothing for the American people and hid the security failures that occurred that day. The bill would also give Congress a pay raise at a time when many Americans are struggling this Christmas.
Raising the debt limit isn’t a good idea, but it’s better to do it with Biden watching. If Democrats don’t cooperate on the debt ceiling now, does anyone think they will do so in June during our administration? Now let’s have this discussion. And we need to pass a streamlined spending bill that doesn’t give Chuck Schumer and the Democrats everything they want.
Republicans want to support our farmers, pay for disaster relief, and prepare our country for success in 2025. The only way to do that is to have a stopgap funding bill with an increase in the debt limit and no Democratic giveaways. Anything else is a betrayal of our country.
Republicans need to act smart and tough. If Democrats threaten to shut down the government unless they give them everything they want, call their bluff. Schumer and Biden These are the people who are providing generous support to our farmers and disaster relief.
