Trump Shows Madness at RNC With Praise for ‘Late, Great Hannibal Lecter’

MONews
1 Min Read

see Report breathlessly It might have been a bit hasty to suggest that Donald Trump was a changed man, giving a different kind of speech at the Republican National Convention. After more than an hour of reading mostly from a teleprompter, Trump had to blast it.

Trump talked about Hannibal Lecter throughout his campaign, and couldn’t resist mentioning him in his acceptance speech.

“Has anyone seen ‘The Silence of the Lambs’?” Trump asked. “The late, great Hannibal Lecter. He would love to have you over for dinner.”

Why should we talk about a “great” fictional cannibal? Why not! He’s Trump. He says nonsense all the time. And despite the best efforts of his managers and the RNC, despite their attempts to write perfectly boring speeches that fail to show the nation what Trump is really like, Trump can’t help but spend enough time in front of cheering crowds to let them know that there is absolutely nothing normal about him.
