Ron DeSantis supports Trump
It is an important development that Governor Ron DeSanti is reportedly meeting with and supporting former President Trump. Trump knows he needs the Florida governor’s supporters to vote for him in November.
This is a much-needed coalition of conservatives.
“We greatly appreciate Ron’s support in taking our country back from the worst president in American history,” Trump wrote on his platform. “November 5th is BIG DAY!”
Working closely to ‘Make America Great Again’ could mean that Ron DeSantis is willing to work as Trump’s surrogate, joining his campaign or making appearances on his behalf.
DeSantis endorsed Donald Trump for president the day he concluded his Republican presidential primary campaign.
Nonetheless, he made it clear that he had no interest in joining the ticket and would instead focus on the Sunshine State.
“People were mentioning me. “I don’t do that,” he said.

Once rivals, now friends?
The race between Ron DeSantis and Trump was so bitter at times during the campaign that it seemed almost comical.
The DeSantis campaign, which took full responsibility for his death in the Republican primary, created a widespread “incident tracker” to monitor Trump’s activities on the trail.
The governor did not help his cause either. He promoted false claims that Trump “attacked” Israel and “praised” Hezbollah. He called Trump supporters “apathetic vessels.” And Trump said more should have been done to prevent the Capitol riot.
Meanwhile, the Trump campaign had constantly mocked DeSantis, even as recently as two months ago, referring to him as a “sad little man” who would be forever remembered with “chicken fingers and pudding cups.”
But if they can still kiss and make up after that, wouldn’t anything be possible?
Probably DeSantis will do Reconsider his opposition to becoming Trump’s vice president.
