Casper Ruud, Stefanos Tsitsipas and Ben Shelton lead a strong group of singles players signed to play doubles at Wimbledon this year.
World No. 4 Daniil Medvedev is also in action, but is two places away from Brazilian Marcelo Demorainer’s shortlist. Andy Murray and Jamie Murray are eighth on the alternate list, but are likely to receive a wildcard if the two-time Wimbledon singles champion is declared fit to play after undergoing a back procedure on Saturday.

Tsitsipas will join his brother Petros Tsitsipas in a major tournament for the second straight year. At Roland Garros, the brothers advanced to the quarterfinals of fourth seeds Ivan Dodig and Austin Krajicek, where they were stopped by eventual champions Marcelo Arevalo and Mate Pavic.
Ruud, ranked 8th in the PIF ATP Rankings, will be partnered with William Blumberg of the United States. Shelton, ranked 14th in the world, will partner Mackenzie McDonald. Other top 20 singles players in doubles included Ugo Humbert (with Arthur Fils), Alexander Bublik (with Alexander Shevchenko), and Sebastian Baez (with Dustin Brown).
Marcelo Granollers and Horacio Zeballos lead the acceptance list, along with Australian Open champions Matthew Ebden and Rohan Bopanna, both former Wimbledon doubles champions.
