On Friday, Kenyan Drake announced his retirement from the NFL after eight seasons in the league.
The running back has played for five different teams since being drafted in the third round by the Miami Dolphins in 2016.
Georgia native and Miami Dolphins star wide receiver Tyreek Hill congratulated Drake on his pro career on Twitter.

Drake played college football under the legendary Nick Saban at the University of Alabama, not Georgia, and while he was mostly a backup there, he finished his career there with 1,495 rushing yards, 18 rushing touchdowns, 570 receiving yards, and four touchdowns.
He won a national championship with the Crimson Tide as a senior, and in that College Football Playoff national championship game, he returned a kickoff field goal and ran 95 yards for a touchdown in the fourth quarter to help the team beat Clemson University by five points.
Drake spent his first three seasons in the NFL with the Dolphins, again mostly as a second-team player, but he made franchise history by scoring a last-second game-winning touchdown against the New England Patriots in what became known as the “Miracle of Miami.”
As Dolphins fans, we will always be grateful to Kenyan Drake for creating the Miami Miracle.

In 2019, he was traded to the Arizona Cardinals, where he spent a year and a half.
His best year came in 2020, when he rushed for 955 yards and 10 touchdowns.
Drake finished his professional career with three seasons with the Las Vegas Raiders, Baltimore Ravens, and Green Bay Packers.
