The New York Giants took the field on Thursday for the second of three practices ahead of their Week 9 game against the Washington Commanders at MetLife Stadium.
Coach Brian Daboll previously delivered a positive injury update, saying all but two players – punter Jamie Gillen and wide receiver Bryce Ford-Wheaton – will return to practice.
Daboll also said rookie running back Tyrone Tracy Jr. has gone through concussion protocol and will wear a red non-contact jersey.
“We’re trending in the right direction,” Daboll said.
In more good news, Daboll said veteran cornerback Adoree’ Jackson will likely return for Sunday’s game against Washington without a setback.
“It’s good to go,” he said of Jackson.
