Ryan Gravenberch looked like a brand new signing this season.
The Dutchman has been deployed in a deep-lying midfield role this season under Arne Slott, having previously played in a more advanced position under manager Jurgen Klopp.
We all knew the number 38 had the ability, but he struggled to show it on a regular basis despite making 38 appearances last season (in all competitions).
But the term really came as a surprise to the former Ajax and Bayern Munich player.
His ability to beat opposition pressure and get us going was impressive and he was once again at his best against Spurs on Sunday.
We are aiming to be as successful as possible during Slot’s debut campaign on Merseyside, so let’s hope his performances continue for a long time to come.
The edit has been floating around social media and can be seen below, thanks to X’s @Watch_LFC.
Ryan Gravenburch vs Spurs:
He’s such a good guy that people don’t even mention it anymore.
But we shouldn’t forget how good he is.
