Watch Kamala Harris take part in a WIRED autocomplete interview

1 Min Read

In a wide-ranging WIRED autocomplete interview, Vice President Kamala Harris touches on everything from her debates with former President Donald Trump (which she found “pretty entertaining”) to her time as California attorney general to her endorsement of Taylor Swift. It’s a vivid tour of Harris’s past and a sneak peek into her plans for the future.

Harris spoke to WIRED earlier this week, asking guests to answer the most-searched terms about themselves. In this case, the prompts referred to her policies on reproductive rights, gun ownership, and same-sex marriage equality. But Harris also talks about more personal details, like her relationship with her stepchildren and her deep bond with her college sorority.

Above all, Harris took the opportunity to highlight the differences between her perspective and Donald Trump’s. “His vision for our country is very much rooted in the past,” she said. “It’s an attempt to take us back to the past, frankly.” You can watch the full video above.
