WEC: Giovinazzi put Ferrari in the pole for Qatar’s curtain craiser.

Antonio Giovinazzi has a pillar of Qatar 1812km, the opening round of 2025 Fia World Endurance ChampionShip, and has deployed #51 AF Corse Ferrari 499p on the timing screen, and united autosports MCLARENS achieved the full heat lock in the LMGT3 class.

The EX-Formula 1 driver in Italy was ashamed of taking the last pioneering time of 1: 38.359 to the #20 bmw M hybrid V8 of Dries Vanthoor to secure the first WEC’s top-end pole position of the Bavarian manufacturer.

After securing one in COTA in 2024, it was marked as the second pillar of Giovinazzi in the last four rounds. Ferrari AF CORSE has become the fourth team with five entire pillars, depending on Audi, Toyota and Porsche LMP1 teams. LMGT3’s MCLAREN full heat lock
MCLARENS of the United Autosports secured the first pole position of the 2025 season, claiming the second consecutive WEC 1-2 in the qualifiers with #95 Mclaren LMGT3, driven by Sean Gelael. Gelael started Mclaren’s career with a perfect rap ahead of the Serite #59 UNITED AUTOSPORTS MCLAREN driven by Sebastien Baud driven by Sebastien Baud. This pillar was the first of Gelael in WEC.
