Lecce coach Marco Giampaolo said this in an interview with the media the day before the match against Roma.
“We wish Edoardo Beauvais a speedy recovery. “I couldn’t do it on Sunday and I want to do it today,” the Italian engineer said as he began speaking to reporters.
He added, “A tough game awaits us in Rome.”
“I watched two good performances under Ranieri against Napoli and Atalanta Roma.”
“Against Atalanta, Roma played until the end. “We played well against Tottenham as well,” he said.
“Roma are a strong team that happens to be low in the rankings. We have a very tough game ahead of us. You must also be prepared in terms of character.
“Ranieri can bring the team together and is very in tune with the city he represents. He will have the entire stadium behind him. “I think I’ll have to do really well tomorrow.”
“Ranieri? “Having a top coach in Serie A at the age of 70 means you have the ability to remain mentally young.”
“He also has a lot of experience in the European sector. I have had the opportunity to have dinner with him a few times, and he is a man of the highest caliber.”
