West Indies recorded a decisive win over South Africa in the second Twenty20 international, winning by 30 runs to seal the series with one match to spare. West Indies showed their power-hitting ability, hitting 13 sixes in the innings to post a total of 179-6 after being put into bat.

Shai Hope led the way with a quick 41 runs from 22 balls, including two fours and four sixes. Rovman Powell added 35 runs from 22 balls.Three sixes were scored. Despite being 111-4 after 14 overs, West Indies accelerated in the final stages of their innings to set a challenging target.

South Africa started the chase strongly, reaching 57-0 in just four overs. But the momentum shifted, the innings faltered, and they were eventually bowled out for 149 with two balls remaining. Reeza Hendricks top-scored for South Africa with 44 runs from 18 balls, including two sixes, but his efforts were not enough to prevent defeat. Romario Shepherd played a key role for West Indies with the ball, taking 3-15 from four overs, while Shamar Joseph also contributed with 3-31.

West Indies won the first T20 by seven wickets, having scored 13 sixes in the previous match. South Africa made one change, bringing on Lizard Williams, who took 3-36, but it wasn’t enough to prevent West Indies securing the series.
