The last Merseyside derby to be played at Everton’s Goodison Park, which hosted the first match 130 years ago, has been postponed until December 7.
A lot has happened for both clubs since then, including the Toffees replacing manager Sean Dyche with David Moyes. David Moyes is currently in his second spell at the club.
The 245th meeting between the teams, which will be the first derby since Moyes’ return, has now been given a new date.

When is Everton vs Liverpool? date, start time
The match will be played on Wednesday 12 February at 7.30pm GMT in the first match between the two clubs since the FA Cup fourth round weekend.
Moyes’ side are hosting Bournemouth in their second FA Cup tie of the season, and Liverpool could be a better fit for Everton as they make the nearly 600-mile round trip to face Championship club Plymouth Argyle.

Why was Everton vs Liverpool canceled?
With Storm Darragh pummeling the UK and a yellow weather warning in place until 6am (GMT) on December 8, with winds of up to 70mph, authorities decided the safety risk was too great for the expected nearly 40,000 fans to attend.

Everton vs Liverpool new date
The good news for Liverpool is that Argentine midfielder Alexis Mac Allister is likely to be available due to suspension.
Arne Slot’s side were six points ahead at the top of the table when the realigned date for January 13 was announced and they were playing against a side who had fallen behind due to the postponement.
Everton were clear of the relegation zone when the fixture was confirmed and Moyes held his first press conference since returning to the club that afternoon.
