Wings win 79-71 due to manpower shortage, extend winning streak to 8th

NEW YORK (AP) — Breanna Stewart Scored 19 points. Johnkel Jones Achieved 3 consecutive double-doubles and New York freedom They won their eighth straight game with a 79-71 win over the Dallas Wings on Thursday night.

Ogunbowale hit a three-point play with 6:47 left to put Dallas ahead 56-55. New York responded with layups from Jones and Stewart to put Liberty back in front, 59-56. The Stars cut the gap to one point twice more, but Liberty went on a 9-2 run to secure the win.
