Do you know that an infant eats exactly one -third of the fruit he gives you? What size did you insist that you wanted it five minutes ago? I don’t know what it is (torture, probably?), I know how to solve it: yogurt peel.
The deal with the food of our house does not need to clean the plate and there is no need to eat what you do not want. This is not because I am the coldest parent. Because of the food rules and restrictions, I have my own history, so I eventually led to an intuitive meal. In general, I think that approach saved my daughter and me from a lot of meals.
But I didn’t do anything about fruits. The fruit is abandoned on a plate every time. And because I am a person who has rejected the clean plate club publicly, I am also a person who deals with the cast -off strawberry and banana lumps. But what do I do with all these fruits? One day I opened Instagram and the answer was like an algorithm miracle.
TA-DA!
I have been making yogurt peel more than a year (twice a week) and suits everyone. It took about 60 seconds and saved me. Barrel Food waste. The parchment scrap, yogurt ladle, and the child only needs to have a mashed fruit on the breakfast dish. Here’s how to make it into five easy stages:
1. Cut the abandoned fruit.
2. Put the yogurt on the parchment. (The thick Greek yogurt knows that it works best with a bulky fruit mass. But you can bark using old yogurt.)
3-4. Sprinkle fruit bits on yogurt.
5. Put the selected nut butter or chocolate in the microwave for 30 seconds and then sprinkle the drizzle over the yogurt. Then put it in the freezer.
6. Cut frozen yogurt into bark pieces.
Now that your child’s breakfast refuses to be a thrilling frozen snack that they say “cook”. There are 10 times more exciting foods to freeze room temperature.
congratulations. You saved yourself the pain of throwing another perfectly good banana chunk.
Do you have any other good tricks for using the remaining food? I am all ears!
