Currently, Zaheer Khan, a mentor of the Lucknow SUPER GIANTS (LSG) franchise, has opened its doors about the possibility of becoming a team coach in the future. The response of the former fast bowling player was ahead of the IPL 2025 season between the Lucknow Super Giants and the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR).
Zaheer Khan retired from the 2015 International Cricket. He is a coaching role. Khan was a major position with Mumbai Indians (MI) from 2018 to 2022. He was a cricket director and later worked as a global development manager. The veteran has brought his expertise to Lucknow Super Giants.

Zaheer Khan recently attended the ‘Indian@100: Leadership Insights of the Sports Economy’ held in Kolkata.
In the discussion, he asked about the possibility of guiding the Indian national cricket team in the future. Zaheer responded by saying that it was an honor to take responsibility.

Zaheer Khan is one of the biggest ballers in India
Zaheer Khan began his international career with his ODI debut with Kenya in 2000 and played the last ODI in 2012. The former left arm fast bowling player appeared in 200 ODI and won 282 tickets.
Khan was a key figure in the 2011 World Cup victory in India and finished the tournament with the tallest ticket gate with 21 scalp and shared his place with Shahid Afridi.
Zaheer played 92 tests in India and won 311 tickets, including 11 fifth place. He also insisted on 17 ticket districts on behalf of 17 T20 International. His contributions in all forms are one of India’s best fastballers to strengthen his legacy.

Zaheer has shared how IPL plays an important role in providing a platform for young cricket players to showcase his technology. He said in 2008 that he had registered 600 to 800 players, but the most recent large auctions attracted almost 1,600 players.
Zaheer said, “The determination and hunger of young people excite me.” “IPL gives them a chance. When the league started in 2008, about 600-800 players were registered.
